A lifelong resident of the Clarksville area, Bryce returned home after earning a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering degree from Auburn University in 1996. He worked as an engineer for nine years and still maintains his Professional Engineer’s License in Tennessee. He received his Contractor’s License and began Providence Builders, LLC in the fall of 2004. His goal is to bring a level of professionalism to the contracting industry that he feels is often missing. Bryce strives to build projects that maintain value and bear his name proudly. He is committed to providing distinctive and creative projects of unmatched quality within Clarksville and the surrounding areas.
Bryce and his family are active members of First Baptist Church, Clarksville, where he serves as a Deacon. Bryce is also a former and Vice Chair and member of the Regional Planning Commission, graduate of Leadership Clarksville, a board member of Planters Bank and past president and current board member of the Clarksville Home Builders Association.
While not working, Bryce enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter. He also enjoys wood working, tinkering on his 1951 Chevy truck, and being out in God’s great creation.

ANDY WYATT
PROJECT MANAGER

A native of Clarksville, Andy is a graduate of Austin Peay State University. He has over 30 years of commercial and residential construction experience. He has worked on a variety of projects in the Public and Private sectors, including projects for the City of Clarksville, Corps of Engineers, and Austin Peay State University. His experience provides him with extensive knowledge of city and county requirements and codes, which allows him to get the job done efficiently and effectively, while maintaining high quality standards. Andy brings a lot to the Providence Team with his custom homes and multiple family builds.
When not working, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons where they operate a small family run farming operation. Most weekends he can be found spending time with family and friends at home or on the farm enjoying the outdoors.

KYLE JONES
DIVISION MANAGER

From residential housing to multi-million dollar commercial complexes, Kyle has spent his entire adult life in the construction industry. He was introduced to construction through his father and quickly came to appreciate the details of the trade and the sense of accomplishment construction brings. Having already obtained his Contractor’s License, Kyle was able to support himself through college at Austin Peay State University. After graduating, with a degree in management, he spent over a decade with a large construction company managing a diverse set of projects, including local commercial projects, industrial buildings, and churches; as well as large design/build projects with the Corps of Engineers. He brings this experience to Providence Builders, where he is an integral part of our quality, value, and integrity in all that he does.
While not working, Kyle’s hobbies primarily include activities with his wife and two boys. Most importantly, Kyle is dedicated to serving his Lord Jesus Christ in all aspects of his life.

ROSS ELLIOT

Born and raised in Clarksville, Ross has been on the team at Providence Builders for over 7 years. After graduating from Clarksville High School, Ross attended Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL on a set design and theatrical lighting scholarship. He spent most of his college career building and designing sets for the University of Florida and their events. Later, he relocated to Memphis, TN and earned his degree in Fire Science. Ross has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, with the majority of his time being dedicated to traveling as a field superintendent and project manager on commercial assignments. He brings beautiful custom homes to life, taking normal aspects of a home and creating impressive functional spaces. His hands on experience give him a realistic approach to his management techniques. Ross is very diverse in the construction world from small to large, multi-million dollar projects; private sector, commercial, residential, educational, retail, and multi-tenant projects.
When not working, Ross can be found with his family in the great outdoors and traveling.

BRYAN GERWITZ

Hailing from Rochester, NY Bryan joined the United States Army in 2004 and proudly served for the next 6 years. His time in the US Army was marked by leadership and responsibility as a Sergeant / Squad Leader. During this period, he honed his leadership and organizational skills, which would later prove invaluable in his civilian career. Bryan transitioned to a Site Superintendent as a Government Contractor on Fort Campbell, KY. In this role, Bryan took charge of enforcing safety protocols, maintaining project schedules, managing employees and subcontractors, and cultivating a positive working relationship with the Army Corps of Engineers. He had worked in the construction industry prior to the army and gained the confidence needed to start his own business, LAH Contractors. As the owner of LAH Contractors, Bryan oversaw all aspects of the business and developed a great subcontractor relationship with Providence Builders. After a few years, Bryan joined our team as a Project Manager. Bryan’s extensive experience and expertise across various aspects of the construction industry reflect his commitment to excellence and his ability to handle diverse responsibilities efficiently. Bryan was the chosen Project Manager for two Gary Sinise Rise Foundation houses.
Bryan’s passion for the Buffalo Bills and outdoor activities, as well as his shared love for baseball and football with his son, is a testament to the strong bond he shares with his family and the importance of enjoying leisure time together.

CODY BROWNING

Cody Browning is a Paducah, Kentucky native and a proud fifth-generation builder, continuing a legacy rooted in craftsmanship and a deep understanding of the construction industry. With a diverse background that spans land development, residential /commercial remodeling, and real estate, Cody brings a well-rounded perspective to every project. His hands-on experience across multiple facets of construction allows him to approach challenges with creativity and insight, always focused on delivering lasting value.
Cody is passionate about growth—both personally and professionally. He strives to expand his knowledge every day while also supporting those around him improve individually, offering guidance to clients and collaborators alike as they work to bring their goals and visions to life. His work is grounded in thoughtful communication, practical solutions, and a genuine commitment to quality.
Outside of work, Cody finds inspiration in nature and enjoys traveling to explore landscapes and architecture across different regions. His life is centered on family, faith, and appreciation for the beauty in both built and natural environments, values that continue to influence his approach to building and relationships alike.

EMILY WOOLSTON

Emily served six years in an Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron. As a structures troop she was educated in construction technology and management. In 2019, Emily separated from the Air Force to pursue higher education.
In 2022, Emily earned her Engineering Technology degree from Austin Peay State University. She took a brief break from the workforce to grow her family. She joined the Providence Team in 2024 ready to take on design, estimating, and operations management of Providence projects.
In Emily’s time off she spends time with her husband and three children, or working with the youth at her church the Bridge. She also enjoys time at gym and a good book.

JOSH CUMMINGS
RESIDENTIAL DIVISION MANAGER

Born and raised in Clarksville, TN, Josh Cummings developed a strong work ethic and a passion for construction from an early age. He graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2003 with a degree in Agricultural Business, and soon after, began a successful career in new home construction. In 2011, Josh obtained his General Contractor’s license and has since built a reputation for quality craftsmanship through custom home builds, remodels, and renovations. He remains focused on maintaining integrity and excellence in every project he takes on. Josh joined the Providence Team in 2025, adding a high level of knowledge and experience to the building process that Providence provides.
Josh married his wife, Jessica, in 2010, and together they have two beautiful daughters, Whitley and Rosie. Outside of work, Josh is a devoted family man who enjoys traveling and exploring with his girls. His Christian faith is an important part of his life and guides the values he brings to both his work and home.

BUBBA CHERRY
General MANAGER

Bubba Cherry is a Clarksville native and a third-generation builder, being a part of the construction industry in this area for most of his life. He attained his General Contractor’s license in 1996 and was a self-employed Contractor for more than 15 years, building many spec and custom homes.
In addition to being a General Contractor, he was a Contractor Salesman for Orgain Building Supply and helped with installed framing packages for 5 years, managing materials and framing crews. Working in lumber and material sales allowed him to gain further insight in proper material use and management.
Following a desire to teach young people, Bubba worked for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, teaching the Structural Systems courses at Rossview High school for 6 years. He led his students to build several portable classrooms for the school system, and trained them in skilled trades, tool recognition, use, storage, and OSHA safety.
“Over the last 30 years I have gained so much from the different careers I have had in the construction industry, and now I am proud to be a part of Providence Builders where I can apply what I have learned and continue to grow in the ever-evolving building industry in Clarksville,” says Bubba.
Bubba loves to serve with his family at Real Life Church Sango. He also enjoys playing sports and spending time outdoors with his wife, Kristi, and their three sons, Trevor, Hudson, and Emmett.

LICIA MASSA

A native Texan, Licia’s interest in bookkeeping and finance was cultivated from an early age through hands-on experience on her family’s cotton farm. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and a Master of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University.
Her professional journey includes an internship with Capital Farm Credit, accounting and human resources roles at her local church and serving as Controller for an oil and natural gas exploration company. In 2008, the Army relocated her family to Clarksville. Licia continued her accounting career with The Gideons International in Nashville before dedicating time to raising her son, Tate, as a stay-at-home mom. She returned to the workforce in 2014, working as an independent bookkeeper for local non-profit organizations. Licia joined the Providence Builders family in 2017 and adds over 20 years of financial expertise to the team. She is passionate about providing the organization with detailed and accurate financial information and strives to enhance financial analysis.
Licia and her family are active members of First Baptist Church Clarksville where she volunteers in the student ministry and enjoys sharing her faith in Jesus. She loves spending time with her family, trying new recipes, and traveling.
